BEHAVIORAL CONCERN PROCESS
If concerns arise regarding a member’s behavior, communication, conduct, or interactions within the organization, the following accountability process may occur.
Behavioral concerns may include:
- Bullying
- Harassment
- Gossip
- Hostile communication
- Divisive behavior
- Repeated disrespect toward members or leadership
- Targeting children or families
- Emotionally unsafe behavior
- Repeated conflict within the community
- Inappropriate social media conduct connected to the organization
- Behavior negatively impacting chapter culture or member safety
STEP 1 — PRIVATE LEADERSHIP CONVERSATION
If concerns arise, the member may first have a private conversation with:
- The Chapter President
- Co-President
- Or approved leadership representative
The purpose of this conversation is:
- Understanding
- Conflict resolution
- Clarification
- Communication
- Support
- Accountability
- Restoring healthy community interactions when possible
Leadership will approach these conversations with professionalism, compassion, emotional maturity, discretion, and fairness.
STEP 2 — IMPROVEMENT & GRACE PERIOD
If appropriate, the organization may provide a reasonable improvement period, typically thirty (30) days, to allow the member an opportunity to correct concerning behaviors and reestablish healthy community engagement.
The purpose of this step is restoration, not punishment.
STEP 3 — “SISTERHOOD COURT” REVIEW PROCESS
If concerning behavior continues after leadership intervention, the matter may proceed into a private accountability review process informally referred to as “Sisterhood Court.”
“Sisterhood Court” is NOT intended to:
- Shame
- Embarrass
- Attack
- Isolate
- Publicly humiliate members
The purpose of this process is:
- Community protection
- Emotional safety
- Accountability
- Conflict resolution
- Preserving healthy chapter culture
Leadership may review:
- Repeated complaints
- Behavioral patterns
- Communication concerns
- Leadership observations
- Impact on chapter morale and safety
Based on the review, leadership may determine:
- No further action is necessary
- Additional support or mediation is appropriate
- Temporary suspension is appropriate
- Chapter removal is necessary to protect community safety and culture
STEP 4 — TEMPORARY SUSPENSION
If suspension becomes necessary, the member may be temporarily suspended from chapter participation for sixty (60) days.
During this period:
- Access to chapter activities may be paused
- Access to leadership spaces may be restricted
- Chapter participation privileges may be temporarily removed
The purpose of suspension is to create space for reflection, emotional reset, and community protection.
STEP 5 — APPEAL PROCESS
Members may request an appeal directly through Founder Crystal Jordan.
Founder Crystal Jordan maintains final authority regarding:
- Appeals
- Reinstatement decisions
- Leadership concerns
- Organizational participation
- Chapter reassignment decisions
Failure to submit an appeal may result in the suspension remaining in effect without further review.
STEP 6 — REJOINING A CHAPTER
Members removed or suspended from a chapter may not rejoin that same chapter for a minimum of two (2) years unless otherwise approved by national leadership.
Depending on the situation, national leadership may determine whether future participation in another chapter is appropriate.
STEP 7 — PERMANENT ORGANIZATIONAL REMOVAL
Repeated harmful behavior, ongoing divisive conduct, severe policy violations, harassment, threats, safety concerns, or continued emotionally unsafe behavior across chapters may result in permanent removal from Auesomely You Sisterhood™ and affiliated organizational spaces.
Removal due to misconduct or policy violations does not entitle members to refunds, compensation, or reinstatement.
